The device is designed to accommodate many individual’s abilities. The springs are adjustable from 0 to 2 pounds of downward pressure. This means that you can adjust the springs to balance the weight of the user’s hand(s) so that a minimal amount of force is needed to push the marker tip to the writing surface.
The spring are adjusted by turning the thumbnut on each of the four springs about the same amount until the weight of the user’s hand is balanced with the spring tension.
